What is your definition of health?

"It is difficult to be healthy, because health in my opinion is the ability to maintain a balance between all organs of the body. I treat the body as a single unit...Health is not simply the absence of disease."

“To take medicine only when you are sick is like digging a well only when you are thirsty. Is it not already too late?“

                      -Chinese Proverb circa 2500 BC

Welcome, thank you for visiting my webpage!

I feel that many of us take health for granted until it starts to deteriorate and then we blame ourselves for not taking care of our bodies, would you agree?

In this day and age, we are surrounded by CIVILIZATION almost everywhere we go. Even if we are inclined to run away from it, the truth is: we cannot escape it. Just as civilization affects our lifestyle, it has a profound influence on our health.

Are you aware that everything we eat, the water we drink, and the air we breathe contains many chemicals? Because of this, it is inevitable that our eating habits are poor and we end up consuming toxins which accumulate in our bodies over time.

What about physical activity? Back in the day people exercised more simply by walking everywhere. It is well accepted that exercise has a tremendously positive effect on our health. Today we either sit behind the wheel of our vehicle, in front of the computer monitor, and/or in front of the television. Unless we put forth an effort to engage in exercise, it simply does not happen anymore like it used to.

Civilization is also conducive to daily stress in our lives. Whether at work, school, home, in relationships, or in charged social situations, we are subjected to stress which has a deleterious effect on our health. How many carefree days at work can you recall in the past month or so?

Poor eating habits, lack of physical activity, and stress are the main causes of today's health problems. Once disease develops, costly and time consuming medical intervention is required. Why not take preventive steps to maintain a healthy body and mind? Two reasons to do so: prevention is much more cost effective and it will ensure that your body functions at its optimum level of performance at all times.

If you are in agreement with me up to this point then we are on the same page! That means that you value your health and you agree that to prevent is better than to cure.

With that said, I invite you to explore ALVEO and I hope that you will experience the same incredible effects on your health and wellbeing, as I did.

Yours Truly,

Basia Bykowski
